They have a team of volunteers who can support you with filling out the survey in person or over the phone at a time that works best for you – or you can fill out the form online. You can reach out to info@parkdalepeopleseconomy.ca if you have any questions. Please complete the survey by October 28, 2022.
In 2016, the Parkdale People’s Economy released the Parkdale Community Planning Study as a blueprint for building decent work, shared wealth, and equitable development in Parkdale. This year, they are re-visiting our community planning process to assess what they have accomplished, what they need to continue, and what they need to shift to build renewed plans for a more equitable future in Parkdale.

To support this planning, they have launched a three-part participatory planning process with local community members focusing on (1) community wellbeing, (2) community mapping, and (3) action planning. In addition to these workshops, they are launching this survey aimed at understanding the experiences of local businesses in Parkdale with the goal of building a community-based vision for the local economy and community-wellbeing.

The survey has 20 questions and will take approximately 30 minutes of your time. We encourage business owners or managers to engage in this survey at your own pace and are here to support you if you have any questions along the way. You can reach out to info@parkdalepeopleseconomy.ca if you have any questions.

The following survey has two sections:

  • Section 1: Parkdale Business Survey (20 Questions)
  • Section 2: Optional Demographic Information (13 Optional Questions)
