Start Date: September 8, 2020
Stage 2: Previous delays, combined with some periods of adverse fall/winter weather, COVID-19 related labour shortages and supply chain issues deferred completion of Stage 2 work (KQQR intersection, The Queensway and King St West) to September 3, 2022.
Stage 3: Work on Stage 3 (the final stage) started on Roncesvalles Ave from the KQQR intersection to Harvard Avenue on September 4, 2022, and will be completed by early February 2023.

Queen Street West block from Roncesvalles Ave to Triller Ave is now Open to vehicles and home to 37+ small and intimate businesses that offer a glimpse into what the rest of Parkdale Village has to offer. Explore the many shops Open for Business during the KQQR Construction.

Construction Liaison Committee (CLC)
Throughout construction, the City will be meeting on a regular basis with affected groups adjacent to construction locations. The CLC is an advisory committee and not a formal commenting or decision-making body of the City of Toronto. The purpose of the CLC is to provide community input and advice to City staff regarding construction. The CLC is comprised of the following local interests:
- Business Improvement Area (BIA)
- Resident’s Associations
- Community Organizations
- Neighbouring Properties
- Ward Councillor
- City Staff: Project Manager, Transportation Services and Senior Public Consultation Coordinator
